Super great breakfast, probably one of the best omelette I've had. I loved that it had thick portions of meat or whatever it is that you ordered.
The down side it doesn't come with anything, not even a slice of toast.
My boyfriend has the simple breakfast and it was good. The potatoes were a little dry so I wouldn't order. They had a great menu of alcoholic coffees but didn't try. Overall it was a great, fast and clean place. Everyone was super friendly.

Really, really, really good place for breakfast!  Staff was great, attentive and on point.  The place is eclectic and just has a groovy vibe and is clean.  It's located off the beaten path and has a locals-only groove, so even though we were tourists, (gasp) it doesn't seem like a tourist location - it's a neighborhood location!

The food was terriffic.  I had the St. Phillip (quiche smothered in shrimp, crab, and remoulade).  Ahhh it was excellent.  My group had pancakes, the Cajun Scramble, and basic bacon and eggs.  Everyone enjoyed their meal and the coffee was crazy good.  Pricing was fair and portions were adequate.

We stayed at Peter and Paul Hotel (a block away) which made Who Dat a perfect breakfast/lunch destination!

My husband and I have been going to Who Dat Cafe for years. While most of their menu isn't gluten free or low carb it is easily adaptable and the waitstaff and kitchen are happy to accommodate dietary modifications if possible. It's a cute little eclectic restaurant with a coffee bar. They also have great mimosas and poinsettias served in huge solo style cups. I had the quiche' which is crustless and topped with tons of shrimp and a tasty sauce. My husband had an omelet subbed the side for a salad and a cup of french onion soup. Everything was delicious and writing this review is making want to go this weekend! Check them out and tell them Whitney @ Alligator Pear sent you!

    - They're open 'til 10pm, but their kitchen is open 'til 3pm!
    - Free street parking nearby, there were plenty of spots open when we visited
    - Gender-neutral restroom available

My boyfriend and I ate here during our last morning on a trip to New Orleans. We were staying at an AirBnb a few blocks down the street and this place had been recommended to us by our hosts, so we had to take their word for it! I took a peek on Yelp beforehand too, of course. :)

We walked over with all of our luggage and arrived around 11am on a Monday in February. There was plenty of seating available both inside and out, but it was exceptionally warm out -- around 75 degrees, insane! -- so we chose a spot in the sunny outdoors.

We were pleased to see so many filling and unique options on their menu. We each started off the meal by ordering some coffees: I went with a medium cold brew with almond milk, and he ordered a cafe au lait, which was so large that it almost looked like it came out in a bowl. That is by no means a complaint!

Once we began sipping on our coffees, we put in our entree orders: I decided on an item called "Not Yo Mama's Corn Cakes," which was the best decision I could've made. I guess that's what happens when you order something with a little notation next to it on the menu that reads, "our top seller." It was cheesy, bacon-y, and just filling enough. I didn't feel exhausted or like I was trying to stuff my face with my last bites.

I'm seriously glad we got to try this place out and that it was so close to where we were staying! Thanks for the great last meal, Who Dat!
